Ardon Visual Communications began in the 1940s, when EJ Ardon opened a small art supply shop in Boston's Back Bay. What started as a creative hub for local artists eventually became one of the oldest art supply stores in the country. As the industry evolved and competition increased, the business expanded into custom sign making and installation — an area where Ardon quickly excelled.

The company soon outgrew its Huntington Avenue space and moved into a larger building in the Fenway Park neighborhood. With that growth came a sharper focus on custom signage, and Ardon's craftsmanship, customer service, and attention to detail helped it become one of Boston's most trusted sign providers.

As technology advanced, Ardon invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment—including plotters, CNC machines, and large-format printers—to meet rising demand and expand creative capabilities. This commitment to innovation allowed the company to take on bigger, more complex projects for branding, exhibits, and large-scale events.

Today, Ardon Visual Communications specializes in medium- to large-scale printing, routing, fabrication, and expert installation. The team holds certifications from 3M, UASG, PDAA, and Lowen, further reinforcing Ardon's reputation as Boston's premier installation partner. With more than 50 years of design, fabrication, and installation expertise, Ardon continues to produce work that reflects its legacy of craftsmanship and its commitment to modern visual communication.
